Grilled kofta
Ingredients
For 4 people
- Lean beef - 500 g
- Halved onion - 1
- Parsley - ½ cup
- Ground coriander seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable oil to grease the baking pan - 1 tablespoon
- Thinly sliced green bell pepper - 1
- Thinly sliced onion - 1
- Thinly sliced tomatoes - 8
Instructions
Mince the meat in the Moulinex HV6 Mince & Chop using the small grid then put it in a large bowl.
Turn over the meat mincer and place the chopper. Chop the onion and squeeze out its juice with your hands. Add the chopped onion to the meat.
Chop the parsley and add to the meat. Season with coriander, cumin, salt and black pepper.
Knead the ingredients well with your hands until well combined.
Divide the meat into 10 medium-sized balls.
Wet your hands and form the kofta meatballs into fingers then place them on a greased baking pan. Add the vegetable slices on top.
Grill the kofta in a preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
Turn the kofta and grill for 10 additional minutes until done.
Serve hot with Arabic bread.
